I’m Tahlia Cole, founder of Misfits Rural Co. — a proudly Aussie, teen-run business bringing you apparel, jewelry, and fishing gear with a purpose.

I started Misfits not just because I love being creative (which I do), but also because I wanted to build something meaningful — something that helps pay for things like uni, but also gives you something to connect with, wear proudly, and feel a part of.

This brand is for the misfits — the ones who don’t always feel like they fit in.
I’ve been there. Through high school and even now, I’ve had moments where I felt like I didn’t belong.
So I created this brand to say:
You don’t have to be perfect. You don’t have to fit a mold. You’re welcome here, just as you are.
